Drinking Habits by Tom Smith (Farce)

The Sisters of Perpetual Sewing have a problem. Their convent is at risk of being shut down, and they desperately need funds to keep the doors open. Their solution? Sister Philamena and Sister Augusta have been secretly brewing and selling award-winning wine right under the nose of their strict Mother Superior.

The secret is about to spill. Eager local reporters (and former fiancés) Paul and Sally catch wind of the operation and go undercover as a priest and a nun to get the scoop. Their arrival sparks absolute chaos, sending the convent into a tailspin and convincing the Mother Superior that spies from Rome have arrived to close them down for good.

Written by Tom Smith, Drinking Habits is a classic theatrical farce bursting with mistaken identities, paranoia, slamming doors, and non-stop physical comedy. Plus a warm-hearted story beneath the mayhem. Book your tickets now for 10 to 14 August 2027 and join us for a riotous night of live theatre at Skipton Little Theatre.
