Snake in the Grass by Alan Ayckbourn is a psychological thriller that explores themes of class struggle and includes elements of dark humor. The story takes place at a large country house and follows two sisters who are reunited after being apart for 20 years following the death of their strict father. Annabel left home to go to Tasmania, but encountered new problems there, while Miriam remained to care for their father but was driven to drastic actions. When they are visited by a vengeful former nurse of their father who was fired, they must confront both the ghosts of the past and the psychological dangers of the present.
