Run for your Wife by Ray Cooney August 1st – 5th (7.30pm)

John Smith may seem like an ordinary taxi driver, but he has been keeping a big secret.  He has a loving wife named Mary in a flat in Wimbledon, and he has ANOTHER loving wife named Barbara who lives in a different flat only four minutes away in Streatham. When he heroically attempts to save an old woman from two muggers, he gets bashed on the head and receives attention, not just from the hospital, but from the police. Two different detectives begin asking too many questions, John’s unemployed, moronic friend Stanley Gardner tries to help, and a neighbour, Bobby, who’s having painting problems upstairs won’t stop calling. All this and his ‘wives’ are getting suspicious.

Please note that this is an additional play to our 2016/17 season and is not part of our membership subscription plan.
